Does petroCUBE.com get updated?
Yes. petroCUBE.com is enhanced regularly with updates, upgrades and optimizations. You can be confident the information you access is both comprehensive and current. Updates focus on renewing parameters and metrics with current data and information, Upgrades are new features that serve to enhance the user experience, and optimizations focus on advancements to petroCUBE's existing usability and functionality.
Is my personal information protected when I use petroCUBE?
Your online connection to the server via petroCUBE.com is secured through GeoTrust, a world-leading digital certificate provider. Connections are secured with full 128-bit SSL encryption, protecting your login and password as it is sent over the Internet. We do not collect, sell or disclose information that identifies you personally.
To ensure confidentiality if you wish to input and compare your own well data, petroCUBE also includes a secure desktop application.
Does petroCUBE.com use cookies?
Yes. Cookies are small text files, created by a web server, and stored on your computer according to permissions set in your browser software. The cookie potentially placed on your computer is not designed to gather any information from your computer. The information contained in this cookie can be retrieved by the server that placed it on the computer to identify the computer and to customize, monitor or regulate the use of this site.
What system requirements are needed to run petroCUBE.com?
Because petroCUBE.com is a web-based service offering, custom software and hardware is not necessary. A user will need to have an Internet connection, preferably one that runs on a dedicated line with a minimum of a 56 K modem. While petroCUBE.com will work on numerous browsers, it is optimized for Internet Explorer, preferably version 5.0 or higher. Due to the nature of the information being shared, petroCUBE is designed for display at 1280 x 1024 screen resolution, allowing optimization of the amount of detail that can be displayed on screen.
